We recommend a good set of Kabuki style makeup brushes for powdering your work in the FTS process. When it comes to purchasing body art brushes, the goal is to maintain quality while avoiding the big ticket brushes that can get damaged. (Keep your Sigma brushes for beauty makeup). Use these for the FTS process. In this particular instance, it’s better to spend the extra money on other tools.
Look for soft, yet sturdy synthetic brushes with good solid handles. (These are more easily repaired if needed – see our tutorials on Brushes). Be sure to have all the sizes on hand, from small detail brushes to larger Kabuki brushes such as these, specifically for powdering your work.
